The Mercury Bay Red Devils are about much more than football. While the club competes in the Coromandel Football League, it also prides itself on creating a welcoming environment where people can connect, stay active, and enjoy the game regardless of their experience or ability.

The Red Devils (Adults) have three types of matches each month:

1) Coromandel Football league (against Hahei and Whangamata) – competitive

2) Open game – social.  We host anyone that turns up and split the teams evenly (sometimes we have a theme i.e. town vs county or New Zealand versus rest of the world) – everyone most welcome.

3) Over40s – for older, injured or new players – super social, again everyone welcome.

Just get in touch via facebook or our club email.

Sunday 6 September was an open game, and special as we farewelled a group of Solomon Islanders who have been training with us for a few months.

So most of the players that turned up did so to wish them well.

Afterwards we had some food and shared some stories. Some of the Solomon Islanders have been coming to the Coromandel for years and are delighted to have found a team to play with.
