Needing a few more players – beginners welcome.

MBFC and Te Rerenga had a fun morning.

On Thursday and Saturday last week Mercury Bay Football Club had a muster to see if there was enough interest in forming a girls team for the second half of the season. We were joined by Te Rerenga who are already in the league with Tairua, Whangamata and Hauraki Plains.

It looks as though we’ll have the numbers, but would still like to attract more players. The league is for girls born in 2012-2015 (10-13 yr olds), however WaiBOP (Waikato–Bay of Plenty) are keen to help, so please reach out if you are a little older or younger and we can ask.
