This upcoming Whitianga event will bring trusted experts together to explore resilience, longevity, wellbeing, and practical ways to support healthy ageing.

More New Zealanders are taking a more proactive interest in their health before problems begin affecting how they live, work and age. For many women, that curiosity often starts in midlife, when changes in energy, hormones, sleep and weight raise a simple but important question: “Why do I feel so different?”

While these experiences are common, finding trusted, practical information can be surprisingly difficult. Appointments are often focused on immediate concerns, leaving many people wanting a deeper understanding of what may be influencing their overall wellbeing and long-term health.

It’s one of the reasons New Zealand-based Conquer Health is bringing its Resilience & Longevity Evening to Whitianga on Thursday 9 July.

Conquer Health is a New Zealand organisation dedicated to helping people better understand their health through personalised guidance, multidisciplinary expertise and advanced health assessments. Unlike traditional one-off consultations, Conquer Health brings together experts from multiple disciplines to develop personalised health plans informed by an individual’s goals, lifestyle and advanced health assessments.

Its personalised programmes incorporate advanced health assessments, including DNA, epigenetic and functional testing, alongside detailed clinical consultations, to provide a broader understanding of an individual’s health and support more personalised health planning.

The Whitianga event follows the success of Conquer Health’s inaugural Resilience & Longevity Summit in Mount Maunganui earlier this year, which welcomed over 300 attendees. Whitianga marks the next stop in Conquer Health’s growing programme of community events, with the organisation committed to bringing trusted health education and expert-led conversations to communities across New Zealand.

The evening will feature internationally respected women’s health clinician and researcher Dr Tracey Clissold alongside Conquer Health Co-Founder Dawn Kiddie, exploring topics including hormonal health, strength, bone health, nutrition, resilience and practical lifestyle approaches that support healthspan -the number of years we remain healthy, active and independent as we age.

“We’ve been incredibly encouraged by the response we’ve seen across New Zealand,” says Kiddie. “What we’re hearing is that women want trusted information, practical advice and the opportunity to ask questions in a supportive environment. That’s exactly what we’re looking forward to bringing to the Coromandel.”

“Understanding your health isn’t about chasing perfection,” she says. “It’s about making informed decisions today that can support how you feel, function and age in the years ahead. We’re seeing more New Zealanders wanting to take ownership of their health, not because they’re unwell, but because they want to stay healthy, active and independent for as long as possible. If we can help people better understand their health and feel empowered to take that next step, then we’ve achieved exactly what we set out to do.”

The Resilience & Longevity Evening will be held on Thursday 9 July at Crossroad Encounter Fellowship in Whitianga. The event is open to women wanting to better understand their health through practical, evidence-informed conversations led by trusted experts.
