We have been having some very cold nights. one is tempted to stay at home and rug up. But on the last Sunday of the month you just can’t do that when Trace and Mark set up at Craft Haus for their monthly show. It’s always a great session from these two Whanga music legends, and throw in Craft Haus’s Sunday Special, ‘The Give A Schnit Sunday’ for just $22 and there’s a reasonable turn out. Not packed by any means but those that are there are loving it.
It is never easy in the middle of winter for entertainment venues to commit to live music but Craft Haus have always supported our local musos and it can make a significant difference to their bottom line.
Mark and Trace have been working together for a while now each featuring on their own or harmonising with each other. It works. Remarkably Mark has memorised over 300 songs. Think about that, 300 songs committed to memory and each one gets its own special treatment.
Trace and Mark will be back August 30, well worth the effort and I guarantee you’ll know a few of the songs to sing along with.
