Whitianga Oceans Festival
Less than a month to go! Get your tickets!
With the marina as your backdrop, great entertainment on stage and plenty to eat and drink, the Whitianga Oceans Festival is a standout event on the Coromandel calendar.
This year’s festival will bring together live music, local food, and a full day of coastal vibes – all wrapped in our Coast Meats Country theme.
Expect a full day of live music – the line-up is fantastic – Brad Cox from Australia, The Western Guide, Automatic 80s and Vegas Brown and band.
Food lovers can enjoy a wide range of flavours, from fresh local seafood and smoky BBQ to sweet treats and festival favourites. Pair that with refreshing beverages from local and national producers, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a memorable day out.

Dust off those dancing boots
You don’t need to know your left boot from your right, just be ready to give line dancing a go thanks to Salty Steppers Line Dancing Club!
Between the live music sets, we’ll be getting the crowd up for a bit of line dancing, with the chance to learn a few moves, get in line and put those dancing boots to work.
Whether you nail every step or end up facing completely the wrong direction, that’s all part of the fun.
Cowboy boots optional, enthusiasm highly encouraged.
