Mercury Bay Lions warmly invites you to Le Lunch – a three course French style lunch to be held at Mercury Bay Bowling Club on Saturday, 8 August.
The lunch will have tasting platters placed on long tables – stunning French style starters, delicious main courses and delectable desserts. There may not be any escargot (snails) or frog legs in sight, but there will be music, spot prizes and some wonderful raffles.
It’s a chance to escape the winter blues and make up a group of friends to enjoy a lunch of fun and frivolity. (If your group wishes to be seated together, their tickets will need to be purchased as a group).
Tickets go on sale at the Whitianga Information Centre from 13 July and will cost $60 per person. The lunch will be from 11.00am-2.00pm with a cash bar available.
All proceeds will be used to fund local projects. Mercury Bay Lions have supported many projects over the last two years such as Bellyful, the Toy Library, Playcentre, the Guided Journey Charitable Trust and Te Tiihi Nui Trust.
