The Arts Collective in Whangamata in association with the Bowling Club has put together a unique promotion. They are selling old bowls for $20 and then asking people to design some art for their bowl. Then, on 25 October at the Whangamata Bowling Club all the arty bowls will roll up for the Lawn Bowl Art Exhibition and Event where the best will be judged. All funds raised is going to Men’s Health Awareness.
Will your bowl get the rub of the green? Will the judges be biased to your entry? Or will it end up in the gutter?
