Business Awards finalists announced

The finalists in the Hauraki Coromandel Business Awards were announced on Friday last week, among them several Mercury Bay businesses.

In the Emerging Business category, Coromandel Lifestyle Centre is a finalist. Coastal Bins, a Kopu-based waste management business operating across the Coromandel Peninsula and Hauraki Plains has also been named as a finalist.

Both Coromandel Lifestyle Centre and Coastal Bins have also been named as finalists in the Retail category.

In the Tourism category, Cathedral Cove Kayak Tours and Wild Wood Mini Golf are finalists.

In the Community and Not-for-profit category, the Mercury Bay Cancer Support Trust has been named as a finalist. The winner of this category is decided by public vote. Voting has already closed.

The award winners will be announced at a gala evening on Thursday, 28 October at the Grand Mercure Puka Park hotel in Pauanui.
