A few incidences have been reported of persons having emotional issues over the past week concerning their mental health. If you have any concerns for yourself or your loved ones, please don’t hesitate to call the relevant agencies, including the Police, for assistance. We are always happy to assist.            


No arrests this week.


On 8 September an elderly couple had a verbal argument at a Mayfair Close address. They have been referred to outside agencies for further assistance.

On 12 September a report was made regarding tyres being slashed at a Mill Road address.


On 6 September an aggressive driver reversed out of an industrial complex on South Highway and nearly collided with another vehicle. The driver then continued driving dangerously behind the same vehicle before overtaking aggressively and cutting the same vehicle off when returning to the correct lane. Enquiries are continuing to have this driver spoken to.

On 10 September a driver was doing skids on Campbell Street before reportedly colliding with a pole. Enquiries are continuing to speak with this driver.

Restraints, impairment, distractions and speed are traffic targets this month, so please wear your seatbelt, don’t drive intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, don’t use your cell phone while driving and drive within the applicable speed limits. Drive safe and drive well.
