Busking spectacular in Whitianga

‘The Nations Go Busking’ is a group of young people who are all learning a stringed instrument. How they came together is because of the hospitality of a Coromandel couple, Saskia and Jelte Reimersma. Extravaganza Fair –a lifestyle and a gift of entertainment.

Filipinos celebrated Christmas

The Filipino Christmas party was organised by the Filipino people who live in Whitianga. They gathered 160 people at the home of Bill and Camilla Beard only half of whom were Filipino. The rest were a general mix of the community – kiwis, plus a half dozen other races.     The whole event was imbued with an infectious energy and friendliness. Summer Art Exhibition

2023 Summer Exhibition at Whitianga Art Centre and Gallery.   23 School Road Whitianga. A collection of new works by local artists with guest artist, Peter Augustin. Two wonderful Santa parades

Wishing you a Merry Coro Christmas BY MICHELLE DELABARCA It felt like the whole town turned up on Sunday afternoon to celebrate the festive season and welcome Santa to Coromandel Town.
