Stoked Deli and Restaurant

Stoked Deli & Restaurant are owned by local residents Andy & Bex Driscoll. Fine dining & culinary excellence have been their passion for nigh on 25yrs and the delicatessen was created as an extension of their passion for gourmet produce in 2020. Andy & Bex are now ready and excited to spend more time with their two young daughters Chloe & Neive, whilst Alex & Mark Samson will be taking over ownership of Stoked Deli in early 2023 bringing their daughters Tinca & Kizzy into the business fold. Alex’s hospitality background led into a 10yr career in Yachting and sailing to many countries allowed the opportunity to experience an international culinary extravaganza of produce and a lifelong interest in fine foods. Alex’s provedoring business Possum Provisions, established in Auckland in 1999 supplyied the ‘Best of the Best’ New Zealand had to offer to the America’s Cup Superyachts arriving at the Viaduct. Relationships were made with suppliers of fine wines & food produced the length and breadth of New Zealand, relationships that are being rekindled to supply Whitianga with more fabulous fayre.

 

Gourmet gelato supplied and created by Hannah Wood, Supreme winner of NZ Icecream & Gelato Excellence awards 2023 and owner of Little Lato & The Gelato Boutique is one of the exciting new summer offerings folks can now find in store. Dulce de Leche sprinkled in edible gold dust and newly created Churro, Grapefruit & Mint & Orange Stracciatella gelato will be some of the flavours on offer this coming year.

 

Charcuterie, sausages, chutneys, breads, original British pork pies & pasties, pates, marinated olives, seafood chowder, artisan products alongside the amazing selection of Christmas and seasonal goodies can be found at Stoked Deli. Hampers to go, Luxury Gift baskets and Pizza packs are but a few of the new items available today.

 

Alain Milliat White Peach & Raspberry Nectars are also a must for making your Christmas Bellini cocktails.

Andy & Bex wish Alex & family all the best in their new endeavour whilst Alex & family thank them both for this wonderful opportunity to dive back into the wonderful world of food. Stoked deli will be pen seven days over Christmas New Year from 12noon to 9:00pm.
