MBAS First XV through to Final!

The Mercury Bay Area School First XV played Whangamata on Saturday and won with a great score of 39 to 10. It was a dynamic game. Our champions are scheduled to play the Final this Saturday, August 12, at the rugby grounds in Whangamata. Thames High School First XV won their semi-final over Paeroa College. The score was 29-26. Mercury Bay Rugby Club 2023 Awards night took place last Friday, 4 August. The programme had an Hawaiian theme for

all friends and supporters. More on this will be coming next week – no room in this issue.
