There are over 2,700 signatures on this Petition entitled, “Establish a 3 D Mammography Unit In Whitianga”. The funds to purchase the mammogram machine have been raised – over $350,000 but engagement and approval is needed from the Waikato Health Infrastructure.

Mike is the driver behind this significant action and achievement which is to serve a large area of the Coromandel Peninsula. This presentation in Wellington is at his own expense. The three petitioners go to Wellington with the blessing of over 2,700 people who signed.

Scott Simpson, on receiving the petition, will take it to the Petitions Committee for their deliberation. There are four members of that committee representing three political parties.

The presentation will take place at 10.30am Thursday 17 September.
